1000 Minutes Part Six

I thought I had the majority of this list stored in my head, but everyday I come across a track or two that I can’t believe I’d forgotten, I hope this stops happening by the time I’m approaching the end.

Last night it happened again when I was out at a club and the two tracks I’m about to mention got played. Neither one of them could be left out, so I’m going to drop them in now.

20. Skee-Lo – I Wish [4:09] [time remaining 933:05] (Direct Link) (Alt Link YSI)

Certain Hip Hop tracks will always be timeless in my opinion, this being one of the best examples. Knowing that ‘I Wish’ is now 14 years old doesn’t make alot of sense, because it always sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it. Perfect for those summertime afternoons.

21. Arrested Development – People Everyday [4:57] [time remaining 928:08] (Direct Link) (Alt Link YSI)

Again, this song spells out summer over and over again for me. It has particularly good memories in relation to one of my closest friends and never fails to make me smile. I don’t think anything else needs to be said really.
