Thanks to the girls at Milk Teeth last night, Saturday is all about Hip Hop for me…or at least for now.
So what better time to mention the forthcoming release from Ludacris and Shawnna? ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ is a collaborative album from the pair and is set for release this summer. The full length will give Ludacris his seventh studio album and Shawnna her third. Details have been pretty tight so far in terms of release date and track listings as we’ve been told the duo have recorded over 30 tracks for the album so far..but what we do know is the following track definitely makes the cut, give it a listen and you’ll understand why…

This is what Ludacris had to tell MTV about it:
“A lot of people have been talking about doing an album with a male and female perspective, but it never has happened. I’m just trying to inject the industry with stuff that’s not going on right now. I think we’re gonna win with it — I know we’re gonna win. The album is 80 percent done. We been working on it since last year, so that’s why I’m saying we coming right back.”
For good measure, I’m going to throw in a pretty nice remix of a Ludacris classic that has been doing the rounds since the end of last year, an oldie, but a goodun.
